Default +1 'Attribute' Staff Wraps

Did you guys notice that there is more and more demand for +1 attibute staff wraps now?

I see people in the buy forums and in game paying over 100k for perfect ones. What's ridiculous is not the amount offered for them, but that no one has them.

Getting a perfect one that you want is hard because:

#1. Chances of getting a staff wrapping of 'attribute' is low. There's fortitude, defense, charrlslaying, etc.
#2 Chances of getting the attribute u want is rarer! It chooses from ele, mesmer, necro, and monk attributes
#3 even rarer is getting a perfect 20%. I've never seen a perfect 20% ones advertise here. I have a perfect +1 fire 20% and ppl offered 100k plus but im not selling it.

Before, 15>50, 15enchant items were rare, but now, the market is flooded with them. But with staff wraps, the higher end 20/19% are still not found.

So yeh, do you guys they will be the new "hot items"?

unless its for a pve char the +1 staff wrap isnt worth it

on a pvp char you can get a focus item with the +1 bonus and +30hp which is comprable to a staff with a defensive/hale head combine that with an pvp wand and it superior to any staff

and on pve char you can get an +10 energy focus with similar stats therefore no real reason to buy staff wraps of that type

A lot if people will pay for perfect protection staff wrappings so they can get a protection bond that steals less energy and can be mitigated easier.

Zuggy, that was before the nerf. Plus, a protective icon is so much better, you can just switch it when you want to cast it and its perfect 20%. You can then put other upgrades on your staff.

People pay for fire ones, air, and other ones that boost damage.

It's kinda counterintuitive that you'd need a perfect one for that though, as you'll keep casting till you get it anyways, right? As long as there is a chance to get +1, it shouldn't really matter, the only difference is the number of times you have to cast before getting the +1

People just pay a lot of money for anything that is rare. Just look at 10/10 Sundering parts. Some people have noticed that 20% attribute wrappings are rare, so they're spending a bunch of money on them.

Better those than something actually useful, I'd say.

Peace,

All I know if that I'm looking for a +5 Insightful and +5 Of Defense staff upgrades, a 20% Of Enchanting sword upgrade, and a 20/20 +12/+30 smiting foci. +1 Attribute could not exist for all I care. There are a lot of people who see the uselessness in those types of mods, so I'd run with that 100k if I were you.

It's a fad.
If a.net stopped having char hides drop from this moment forward, their value would skyrocket. Why? Because you can't get them anymore.
Getting a perfect staff wrapping with the attribute that you want is harder than finding <censored> at a <censored>.
